Elena Strongyliotou, born in Nicosia, Cyprus in 1970, began her journey in fashion design at a young age. At 17, she left Cyprus to study at St. Martin's College and later Cheltenham's College of Art. After graduating, she worked for two years with Mark Boham at Hartnell's House of Haute Couture in London. In 1991, she returned to Cyprus to establish her own label, ES – ELENA STRONGYLIOTOU. Her wedding and evening gowns quickly gained recognition for their unique, modern yet luxuriously elegant style and meticulous attention to detail, establishing her as a serious haute couturier.
